A walk on the wild side!

October 2, 2017

It's been another busy old week, I've been getting stock ready for the lovely ladies at the shop in Leeds "our handmade collective" they're in the Grand Arcade next to the Grand theatre, the arcade is beautiful and houses The famous 195 year old Wm Potts & Sons clock, which was restored in recent years to its former glory. Make sure your there on the hour and you'll get the full clockwork show complete with knights in shining armour.
I've also been doing more sketches and doodles for new pattern designs, I wanted a bit of natural inspiration so took myself off to the Bolton Abbey estate and walked a few miles through the woods, even on a dull day it never fails to inspire me. From the beautiful riverside orchid to the wild mushrooms it's given me plenty to do this week, including some very interesting new childrens fabrics.
